I want to be an Immigrant

I am studying dentistry in my country, and I think that this career and the education here is very good, however this career finishes in the licenciature, for that reason I like to go to study more, a specialized in my major, for example, I would like to go to…. I don´t known to Cuba, to Spain or Mexico.

This is an opportunity that I like, but I know that is very difficult because , to go other country scares me for my family, my friends, my country, my people, the food, the customs, etc.
However I think that if I have the opportunity. I go to an other country!

Food trends

In Costa Rica, there are many restaurants and places where the people can go to eat.

Exist many methods to influence the person, for example advertising, the business men use the advertising to sell the food.

In addition, the food trends is a world culture, for example; the fast food (is an american´s food USA), influence the other people; restaurants like Mc Donald´s, KFC, Taco Bell, etc

The Education in Costa Rica

The education in our country is one of the things of more importance. The government gives a lot of importance in this topic.

There are many institutions of education in Costa Rica, public or private, like Universities and Schools. In general, it is very good

The philanthropicsts

The philanthropicsts are persons that give economic help to other people or institutions that need of this money. One example is Bono, he is a fundraiser for various organizations. He has helped in the areas of children´s causes, disaster relief, AIDS treatment and other health issues, human rights, hunger, poverty, etc. The philanthropists have helped so much to all world.

I think that these contributions are very important because there are persons that really really need it.

Secrets to living a very long life

These are some of the secrets to living a long life:

Don´t drink alcohol.
Make many exercises.
Wake up early, sleep 8 hours a day
Drink too much water.
Eat vegetables, grains
Go to the church
Have much sex
Have an active social life

All these are good advice to have a long and happy life

Taking care of animals!!

We, the humans need the animals, because of them to get many of the productsof the our diet and they are very beautiful and fill our life of happiness
However, many times we hurt and do not care for them. We should care, give them love, give food and try to preserve their habitat, not to capture them, because they suffer of depression and even die.

They don’t deserve we do not care!!!

Spleep Disorders!

Sleep disorders is when a person doesn´t have sleep during the night for many reasons, for example: apnea, they talk, walk or move at night while sleeping. The majority of these problems are chronicle and the people that suffer them have to put in control with a specialist doctor. These people don´t have rest, they feel very tired, cranky and other things. Many of these problems are causes of other disorders in health like, for example: diabetes, overweight, stress and others.

How accessible is my community

In my community many people live, but they don´t worry to have places accessible for persons with some disability. This type of people suffers several times of discrimination. Form more that they want to get over their problems physical or mental, it is very difficult because they don´t count with the help of the other people. In my community, we don´t have facilities for them, it is very sad, because they need of these types of things.

News in Costa Rica

In our country, currently we can listen and read news of many types of the communication media, for example; radio, newspaper, news a T.V, for internet and others.

In the news a T.V, there are several channels of T.V like Repretel, Tele Noticias, Tele Norte, Las Noticias, others more. For me, the best channel to see and listen to news is Tele Noticias, because I think that is the most serious channel.

In the Newspaper, there are some with: La Extra, La Teja, La Nación, Al Día, etc. The most complete newspaper for me is La Nación, and the worst are The Extra and La Teja because; for example; the lenguaje that this newspaper uses is bad. They have many grammatical errors, the international news are few, etc.

Finally, I have a little time to see or listen to news, but I don´t like it because almost always are repetitive, boring and negative news.

Introduction!!

My name is Mariela. I lived in San Carlos, but for the University my residence is in San Pedro. I loved San Carlos. It is a place where my family and my people are. My family is very big. I have two brothers and two sisters; all older than me, my mother and my father… ahhhh.. I forget my niece; she is a beautiful little girl. I love to study dentistry. I like to listen to music, dance, go to cinema, watch T.V and other things. Finally, I am a very happy woman. I love everything that is around me.
